Goodreads review

I have been reading JAFF for more than a decade, and this is one of the better Austenesque novels. The words, syntax and general tone are right and all the characters are consistent with Jane Austen's. The book makes an excellent prequel to Pride and Prejudice and I enjoyed reading it for St. Valentine's Day. - Susan (Goodreads.com)
